To Ron, Russ, and all involved with MVF,

I just want to say how humbled and honored I am to have won this VERY tough contest. There was a level of competition here that was awesome.. It is truly going to be an honor to be performing "Me and You, and the Red, White and Blue" at the festival on July 11th. Knowing where these words, and the inspiration came from for this song, singing it for the people that this festival is all about, just brings this song home to my heart even more.
Michelle Ann, John Schmidt, Rich Owens, Jael, and Grand River all put their hearts into the song, and it would be a great honor to be able to meet them all.
I truly look forward to the Michigan Vet Festival, and to meeting the many veterans that have served this GREAT COUNTRY CALLED THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!!! God Bless Our Troops, and Our Veterans!!!!

You know I was rooting for him and told him so. CONGRATS JT!!! Wishing you all the best with this event I am sorry I wont be there . Lillian wrote a beautiful beautiful song for our troops and I will still be out here promoting it because when I do that it reminds everyone of our military still fighting a war.Its been a real pleasure doing the contest and for such a great cause I will still be out here rooting for donations for Veterans Haven.
